WORDS OF WISDOM

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
Mark Twain

Preparation of your bag might be a problem, especially if you travel by plane, because your bag has to be quite small.
Those small bags are called hand luggage or cabin baggage (also carry-on in North America) is the type of luggage that passengers are allowed to take to the passenger compartment of a plane. Normally you can leave your hand luggage under seating, or in overhead lockers. Trains usually have luggage racks above the seat.

English speaking world

Did you know that in many countries English is the dominant language, but does not have official status?
In Australia, English is spoken by the majority of the population and is the only language used in government institutions, yet Australia does not have an official language. The case is the same in the United Kingdom and the United States, however many states and regions in the U.S. have English as an official language. English is an official language of Canada ( with French) and the Philippines ( with Filipino).
English is one of the official languages of the United Nations, European Union and the International Olympic Committee. Many countries which were colonies of U.K. have English as official language.

TRY THIS!:
Here you have a short online game. You have to
drag the names of the CAPITAL CITIES next to the corresponding COUNTRIES or REGIONS of the English Speaking World. Good luck!

Positive point question: How many countries have English as their official language?

The first three students who answer correctly this question will get a positive point in their school evaluation.
